Celebrity can’t wait for you to learn from Andrés Peñate, who goes by Rico, this season! Andrés began dancing at just six years old where he went on to win a National Latin Ballroom Championship by the age of twelve. He later expanded into other dance styles, such as hip hop, break dancing, jazz, ballet, lyrical, and contemporary, earning scholarships and awards nationwide. His versatility led him to the spotlight as a finalist on season two of NBC’s World of Dance. Since then, Andrés has performed and taught across the U.S., Canada, Europe, and Asia. He has appeared as a principal dancer in High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, performed as a lead in Awakening at the Wynn Las Vegas, and most recently danced in Gap’s Spring 2026 campaign, “Sweats Like This,” featuring Young Miko. Now based in Los Angeles, Andrés continues to pursue his career and share his passion for movement as a performer, creator, and educator. He is looking forward to teaching the next generation of Celebrities!
