Alysia Chang

Celebrity Faculty

Team Celebrity just grew stronger with the addition of Alysia Chang. Alysia was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. She went on to study at SUNY Purchase College and received her BFA in dance and a minor in Arts Management. Since graduating, Alysia has danced with Smuin Ballet, The Sacramento Ballet, Oakland Ballet Company, the Metropolitan Opera Ballet and is a current member of the San Francisco Opera Ballet and Amy Seiwert’s Imagery. Alysia has also ventured out of classical dance and has performed with Sacramento Music Circus, Dallas Summer Musicals and The Radio City Christmas Spectacular in New York City. Additionally, Alysia has toured through China with ZiRu Dance and been featured in shows with Concept o4, and DawsonDanceSF. Alysia has also been invited to Taiwan to study with the national company, Cloud Gate Dance Theatre, a contemporary company that blends martial arts, tai chi, and modern dance into their own unique aesthetic. Alysia hopes to inspire all the Celebrity Dancers and encourage them to be their best as well as find their own path within the dance world!
